Our Story
Ultimate Rehab’s founder is Lorie MacDonald, PT, graduate of St Louis University. In 1999, Lorie’s goal of providing a more responsive and personalized contract therapy option for skilled nursing providers proved necessary and Ultimate Rehab grew, partnering with SNF facilities in OH, KY, IND, TENN, and FLA.
Ultimate Rehab is proud of its retention over 22 years and even today the first employee to join Ultimate, Kelley Robinson, is our current Vice President of Employee Relations. Sandy Mueller joined Ultimate Rehab in 2008 as an operator and is currently The Director of Recruiting.
Ultimate Rehab became a family business in 2011 when Lorie’s son Brian, DPT, joined the company as a Physical Therapist after first spending time working in a local hospital system. Brian’s roles have evolved as Ultimate Rehab has grown and is currently a Corporate Director.
Ultimate Rehab has since expanded their services to include Recruiting/Staffing assistance to skilled nursing and home health operators. Ultimate Rehab goes above and beyond what normal recruiting services provide, vetting candidates, setting up interviews, and seeing the candidate through the process to the offer letter and beyond. Ultimate makes recruiting employees smooth for our clients at an outstanding value compared to national firms.
